Use Check-Ins


What is it?

A quick way to get everyone involved, heard and ready for your meeting/workshop.


How to use it: 

  1. Set aside time in your meeting/workshop (1-2 mins per person)

  2. Propose a question or mood board (use one of the resources below or your own)

  3. Ask attendees to answer in turn (making sure everyone gets a go)

  4. Listen without judgement and thank each person for sharing


Once complete, explain the meeting/workshop objectives and move into your agenda.


Pro Tip:

Consider how many people are in the session and how comfortable they’ll be answering the question (i.e. if managers or leaders are present).
